I have Adjusted the Length of the Rope Shorter but the Excess Gets in the Way

One of our customers reported:

“The excess rope (which I'm leaving about 2-3inches of) has a nasty habit of whipping the back of your hands as a reward for getting your feet timing wrong. It's like having a coach that beats you for not doing something right.”

Once you have found the ideal length of rope for your height we would recommend cutting the rope with pliers to remove the excess rope.

At first we recommend leaving around 2 inches of spare rope to make sure you have the correct length, but once you are confident you have the correct length you can cut the excess rope shorter so that it does not get in the way (or whip your hands when you make a mistake!)
